almost three months to fill
MOMA PS1 (MOMA’s contemporary art museum in Queens) is engagingly disconcerting. The building is an old school and it still looks and feels like one. There are no usable maps telling you what’s what and no obvious route; you venture through corridors, opening doors into different rooms, uncertain what’s inside. Parts of the building itself have been made into art installations; at times you may be uncertain whether or not you are looking at a piece of art.
More art museums should be like this.
